Love@First Website: "The Art of Persuasion" Draws an Impressive Crowd

Love@First Website: "The Art of Persuasion" was held Thursday, June 8, at the Tiffany Center in downtown Portland. More than 100 people attended the half-day seminar that started off with a delicious breakfast, and continued with exciting speakers.

Kelly Telfer, Sr. Manager Demand Generation for Siemens AG, jump started the event with an engaging presentation on how to think outside the box with your web initiatives. He showcased a creative product microsite that had a tremendous impact within Siemens.

Blake Ross, Firefox Founder, provided inspirational commentary on the results that can be achieved by using grassroots campaigns to empower your user base. Ross explained that by making the consumers feel as if they are a part of the product they become willing and effective evangelists.

ISITE Design co-Founders Paul Williams and Jeff Cram shared two tales of persuasion: The Pittock Mansion and HiWired. Both case studies highlighted the process ISITE Design leads its clients through in order to develop persuasive online experiences.

The morning wrapped-up with a question and answer session from a panel that featured the speakers, as well as industry professionals Robert J. Moreau (Rubicon) and Janet Johnson (Marqui).
