The application has helped reduce phone calls, decrease staff time to write up ticket orders and enabled the City to resolve issues more quickly. The process is also easy for citizens, taking less than a minute to report a problem.
Cambridge iReport is part of a growing trend of citizen engagement platforms that leverage digital technology to improve services and provide more transparency in the process. The city collaborated with ISITE Design’s mobile team to plan, design and build the application.
