Car sharing seems like a simple enough idea, but there's a reason Zipcar has become the leader for cars on demand. And it has a lot to do with delighting its 300,000+ members on a daily basis.
Founded nearly a decade ago, Zipcars now live in 50+ cities and on over 100 college campuses across North America and the UK. Portland boasts its own growing fleet featuring hundreds of vehicles from Salem to Vancouver.
Lesley and Lisa will tell the story of Zipcar.com and how it continues to deliver experiences that delight. From clever copywriting to smart technology, the online experience is consistently winning over an enthusiastic group of Zipsters.

Paul Zaengle
Sr. Director of eCommerce
Columbia Sportswear
Columbia Sportswear needs no introduction as a leading global brand in outdoor apparel and footwear. The Portland headquartered company has developed an international reputation for quality, performance and value over the past 70 years in business.
Columbia recently launched its first eCommerce initiative at www.columbia.com in an effort to raise the bar for how a brand connects with its customers online and off. Much more than a sales vehicle, the new site attempts to blur the lines between commerce, community and content.
Paul Zaengle will share Columbia's story and some of the out of the box thinking that went into the new site, eCommerce approach and social media strategy. There are sure to be plenty of lessons learned along the way on how to delight customers, not to mention some on the job research for some new winter gear.
