ISITE Design is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect/Sales Consultant with extensive CMS implementation experience to join our growing team in either our Boston or Portland office. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our business development team to support sales efforts on new opportunities, frame the initial technical architecture of large-scale CMS implementations, and contribute as a thought leader on ISITE publications like the thecmsmyth.com.

We’re looking for someone with a strong background architecting web-based solutions, detailed technical knowledge of the content management space, and a passion for the sales process and customer success. The ideal candidate will have and a broad base of experience across multiple platforms, play nice with our eclectic and passionate group of strategists, developers, and designers, have the ability to craft simple solutions to complex problems, and shine when preparing and leading technical presentations to decision-making audiences.

This is an important and highly visible position within ISITE. We’re looking for someone that wants to be a significant contributor to the agency’s continued growth, play a critical role in spearheading sales and the delivery of technology solutions, and LOVES living on the leading edge.

Responsibilities

  • Light up client presentations with an energetic personality and sharp technical acumen, lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, and help organizations develop multi-year technical roadmaps
  • Work closely with the business development team to support sales efforts on new opportunities and frame the initial technical architecture of large-scale CMS implementations
  • Assist the marketing team in developing marketing materials and positioning strategies for ISITE’s content management and other technology practice areas
  • Lead technical responses to RFPs, scope new projects and opportunities, assist with proposal development, and accurately estimate development tasks
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and other ISITE team members to define the vision, scope, and requirements for projects
  • Assist in documenting the overall system architecture on projects in sufficient detail for the development team to move forward with implementations
  • Contribute to development efforts as needed and review other team members work to ensure alignment with client expectations and ISITE’s coding and quality standards
  • Own the technical aspects of the client relationship on large-scale implementations and act as the final point of escalation for technical related issues
  • Coordinate and participate in research and development of new development tools and third party solutions needed by our clients

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of professional experience as a technical strategist, developer, and/or architect, with knowledge of multiple technologies and enterprise architecture expertise
  • 3+ years of professional experience architecting large-scale CMS-centered solutions for public web sites, corporate intranets, and secure extranets
  • Strong understanding of the CMS industry and marketplace in general, experience with Sitecore, Ektron, Drupal, and/or Adobe CQ preferred
  • Experience integrating content management systems with marketing automation and demand generation software, CRM systems, enterprise search solutions, and legacy applications
  • Experience delivering sales presentations to all levels of enterprise decision makers, ability to think conceptually on the fly, and lead technical discussions in a persuasive manner
  • Superior communication skills, ability to articulate key messages clearly, and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
  • Four-year college degree in a related field such as computer software engineering and previous Agency experience strongly preferred
