Paul Williams
President and Co-founder
Paul Williams, president and co-founder, launched ISITE Design in 1997 after identifying the need for a web design and development firm focused on delivering bottom-line results. As president, Williams leads ISITE Design's corporate strategy and plays a key role in client strategy, design, and analytics. During the past seven years, Williams has helped companies large and small—including Nike, Nintendo, MCI/WorldCom, General Electric, Oregon Historical Society, and the Ron Tonkin Auto Group— achieve significant online ROI. Williams was recently recognized by the Portland Business Journal as one of Portland's top executives under 40. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Linfield College.
Jeff Cram
Chief Strategy Officer and Co-founder
Jeff Cram co-founded ISITE Design in 1997 and leads ISITE Design Boston as its managing director. As chief strategy officer, Cram has played an integral role establishing the agency as a national leader in web strategy, design, and technology services. A frequent speaker at national conferences on web analytics, search engine marketing, and usability, Cram has consulted for companies including Siemens, Xerox, Nike, Nintendo, and WebTrends. Prior to ISITE Design, Cram worked for Nike as a web communications consultant and led web initiatives for WebTrends, the market leader in web analytics solutions. Cram resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Linfield College.
Kevin Mackie
Chief Operating Officer
As chief operating officer, Kevin Mackie brings an extensive technical background to ISITE Design's sales and marketing. In this capacity, Mackie partners with customers to understand their challenges and provide innovative solutions. Prior to joining ISITE Design, Mackie served as director of product management for Digital River, the largest provider of outsourced ecommerce services. While with Digital River, he led the marketing and development of the ecommerce platform that served more than 30,000 online stores. Previously, Mackie worked for Phoenix Technologies leading the product marketing for several applications and device drivers targeted at web-enabled embedded devices. Mackie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at San Diego.
Andrew McLaughlin
Senior Director of Account Management
Senior director of account management for ISITE Design, Andrew McLaughlin is a proven leader with experience managing internet, multimedia, and e-learning development teams and projects. Since becoming a member ISITE Design's management team, McLaughlin has generated numerous processes that improve the client experience. Previously, McLaughlin was a director of production for Planet Productions and a director of development for Convergent Communications. In his previous roles, McLaughlin was responsible for developing programs for leading corporations, including Compaq/Hewlett-Packard Company, Nike, Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), and Underwriters Laboratories (UL). McLaughlin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Oregon State University.
George Ross
Chief Technology Officer
As the chief technology officer, George Ross is the architect of our technical destiny. In addition to leading our application development practice group, Ross serves as senior architect on a number of client projects. Ross excels at putting the pieces of an infrastructure into a solution. Ross joined ISITE Design in 2000 and has maintained multi-year relationships with clients including Oregon Health & Science University, Oregon Historical Society, and Oregon Graduate Institute. We like to say that if "Oregon" is in the client name then Ross is the developer. Prior to joining ISITE Design, Ross served as the director of technology for PrintBid.com and senior architect for C-Bridge. Ross has worked with a litany of packaged solutions including TIBCO PortalBuilder, SABA LMS, Docent LMS, EOSI Collection Management, CommonSpot, Ektron, and others. Ross graduated from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.
Melissa Casburn
Director of User Experience
With 12 years of experience as a project manager, instructional designer, web strategist and information architect, Melissa can get a lot done in a day. Firmly rooted in both corporate and agency environments, she's helped leading companies (including HP, Microsoft, Comcast, MTV and The Pampered Chef) add stickiness to their sites, and takes great pride in creating experiences that keep users aware, informed and connected-yet-autonomous. Melissa holds a BA in Clothing and Textile Design from San Francisco State University and an MBA from the University of Oregon, and is a member of the Portland, OR chapters of CHIFOO and IxDA.
Patrick Craig
Creative Director
Skilled at helping organizations connect with their prospects and customers through brand strategy and creative design, Patrick combines stunning design skills with practical web usability best practices to deliver sites that both look great and work well for end users. With a BFA in Graphic Design, Patrick has years of agency experience and also finds time to teach graphic design at the Portland Art Institute. Patrick has leveraged his design best practices for the web to deliver visually dynamic sites that reflect the spirit of organizations including M.I.T., Zipcar and Oregon Health & Science University. These projects have also required uncovering the design feedback from both multiple stakeholders and site end users. To efficiently collect the set of information, Patrick excels at crafting the appropriate set of questions. He has also led ISITE Design projects for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, Farm Aid, and Primal Quest. Prior to joining ISITE Design, Patrick served as Creative Director for a Chicago-based Interactive Agency.
